Who are R2Bees?
Two cousins from Tema, Ghana — Mugeez and Omar Sterling (Paedae) — who turned street freestyles into one of Africa's most loved duos. Since 2007 they've blended hip hop, hiplife, highlife and Afrobeats into a sound that is unmistakably theirs.
The duo
One sings the hooks you can't shake. The other raps the verses you quote back. Together: R2Bees.
MugeezVoice & melody
Rashid Mugeez — the singer behind the duo's biggest hooks, from "Kiss Your Hand" to "Tonight". His melodies are the heartbeat of the R2Bees sound.
Omar SterlingBars & flow — aka Paedae
Faisal Hakeem — the rapper of the pair. Beyond R2Bees he released the solo album Victory Through Harmony, home to "Nineteen Ninety".
